Materials Development Specialist
Kenneth Ronquillo is the Materials Development Specialist for TEAM Lab. He applies his experience in graphic design and public health to support TEAM Lab and California Tobacco Control programs in producing educational materials.
Prior to TEAM Lab, Kenneth joined Americorps and implemented the American Lung Association in California’s Oakland Kicks Asthma program. He contributed designs to an asthma management workbook and taught over 200 youth in Oakland techniques to better manage their asthma.
Kenneth has also worked in Thailand and the Philippines through the Southeast Asian Leadership Network (SEALNet). In Thailand, he worked to reduce HIV stigma by designing posters and brochures and developing an art exhibition at an orphanage for children with HIV. In the Philippines, he helped organize a health fair, press conference, and radio interviews to address a village’s gastrointestinal worm epidemic.
Kenneth completed a BA in Public Health and an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley. In his free time he films music videos for the songs that he writes and records. Kenneth continues to seek opportunities to bring graphic design and technology into the field of public health.
