Co-Principal Investigator
Carol Koprowski, Ph.D., R.D., is an assistant professor of Clinical Research in Preventive Medicine at the University of Southern California and a registered dietitian. Her work at the Tobacco Education and Material Lab (TEAM Lab) is in the area of online training and the development of other computer-based learning activities.
She is currently developing online training modules to integrate nutrition education through the first two years of medical school. Carol is also developing a distance-learning course for the USC Master of Public Health program.
Her research focuses on the relationship between diet, physical activity, and age at menarche. She is also developing appropriate questionnaires to measure diet and physical activity habits in adolescent females with physical disabilities.
She received her Ph.D. in preventive medicine with training in nutritional epidemiology from USC, and her master’s from California State University.
